Saturday, May 18th, 2019 from 9 am to 1 pm

We will need you at the venue by 8 am in order to be ready to greet the attendees.

Last year there were three characters and BB8.  I believe that this will be plenty again, as we will alternate with princesses. If more, they can mingle in/outside with guests.

We anticipate there to be 500-600 people/children in attendance, if not more.

There will be air conditioned rooms for characters to get ready in and be able to take breaks to rest.  Food and drink will be provided to all characters in attendance.

 

The event itself is a community event centered around pre-school and adolescent children.  The event drives bicycle safety, but involves many different organizations from the local children’s hospital, EMS service, Law enforcement agencies, health department, child protective services, and many, many others.  This is the 3rd year for the event.  It provides helpful information to parents, entertainment for children, and at the same time teaches them about some of the dangers they may face with fires, bicycle safety, animal safety, water safety, etc.

 

Referred by:  I work for TriStar StoneCrest, one of the event sponsors, and am part of the RL and 501st. We have had a few people at the previous 2 with good reception by those in attendance. I will be at a wedding on the 18th this year and will not be able to assist with this one or even attend, unfortunately.
